In the mysts of a small town in California, called Northshore, life evolves like never before. From gossip to the bare truth, to resolvable problems and never ending stories. Some people might not know what is going on in the heads of the teenage minds here in Northshore, but these bright minds have secrets and stories like no other.

Even though the parents might be involved more or less in their darling, overachieving or underachieving childrens' lives, they are not completely being told the truth here. Popularity and sanity are the main things to watch out here. After all, who would want to hang out with a not-so-popular guy even if he's majorly hot? Or a non-dateable jock from the football field. The chances of course, are slim to none. Honey, people don't care if your brother just died, if you have AIDS, or if you have family problems, all they care about is your popularity rating and looks.

Let me get this straight. This might be a small town, it's not the size of L.A. or San Francisco, but its standards aren't any lower, no, actually they might be even higher, especially because some of the wealthiest American families live here to have more privacy. And the town itself is no different than any of the other, bigger and more famous ones. The only advantage the others have, and the only reason why it's not as famous, is its size. This town is a town of parties, lies, sins, rumours, love and betrayal, especially for the teenagers.

The good part, though, is that there are different kinds of people here in Northshore.Not everyone is the same, and you will find someone of your kind for sure. In the Northshore Local High School, they have wisely name these groups of different people- cliques. Every single student of Northshore high belongs in a certain clique, wether they like it or not. Everyone, even if they don't admit it, wants to be on the top of the pack. And the only thing harder than getting on top, is staying there.
