Since it opened, Newport High School has been your traditional American boarding school. Books, football, gossip, you name it. Recently though, a few things have been taking a spin; some for the worse, and some for the better. A group of the more popular people have been recently involved in a scandal and been centered in rumors, some members of which, their parents are quite wealthy and established in Orange County.

Also, the school's principal has decided to open up its doors to other people in the area and state, competing for a larger variety of people, and offering more opportunities to those not normally in that position. Cliques are more evident than ever, and who knows what will become of the scandals running the tongues of the teens in the school.

There is also an evident rift between the original wealthier kids, and the newcomers. Will Newport High ever be able to overcome these times of hardships and differences, or will it fall to the influence of two thousand teenage kids?

The World We Live In

Liberty California your average small town in the middle of California. It seems like your average place to live and to the naked eye it is. But over three years ago a meteorite storm showered the small town. All the town youth was affected with extraordinary gifts. Most of the kids have used their gifts to help others while others use the gifts to harm others and get the things they want.

With in those three years a group of scientist made there way to Liberty to study the meteorites that had hit the town. It did not take them long to notice that these were not just ordinary meteorites falling from space. Not sure what it was about them they asked the government for a grant to set up shop in Liberty and to continue their studies. The grant was approved but under the conditions that they keep their research a secret to not alarm the citizens of Liberty at all.

In a little over a year the scientist had began to run test on willing subjects in the town. Most of them being the poor who needed money. It did not take them long before they realized that the youth of the town had been affected by the meteorites. Reporting back to the government with their findings they were given even more money to continue their research and to learn how they can use these gifts to the countries advantage against their enemies.

So test were continued and as each day past the scientist were learning more and more about these strange powers. Soon scientist began to pick kids up off the street but they were sure to take the ones that would not missed at all. These kids are kept under lock and key for months being monitored and tested on by these scientist. Some of them are strong enough to survive while others don't have the strength and pass away. The ones that do survive though are trained to be the perfect soldiers and placed back into the world until they are needed again.

Are these perfect soldiers just what we need to keep our country out of harm? Or will these soldiers turn on their creators and try to take over for themselves.

NOT ANOTHER ROCK TOUR -noun,

a tour running through may 2009 - may 2010. the final tour of headlining band, wicked dreams. a tour upon which heartbreak, break up, love, friendships, enemies, lies, hate, and drama all persue.

A life on tour can never be easy, right? Touring for a year shouldn't be any different. Especially with a variety of different types of musicians. And this tour, has it all. There are the musicians that are egotistical, that only think of themselves and no one else. And then on the other end, we have the shy ones that keep to themselves. Some care too much, and others just don't care at all.

With so much going on, and being away from most sanity for a year, it really couldn't be a surprise for most celebrities to crack. Fans and paparazzi are enough on their own. But could there be some members to be able to make it out on their own? Tough it up and deal with the pressure they get every day?

Or will they all crack?
